Parents' Council
Strangford Integrated College has a Parents’ Council which is open to all parents with children at the College. All new parents are strongly encouraged to play an active role in the Parents’ Council, which both mobilises and organises parental support and advises the Board of Governors on matters of concern to parents. Parental involvement is an important pillar of integrated education.
The Parents’ Council is an active body which regularly holds fun events to benefit the school community. The recent quiz night was a great fun and the regular raffles are always a great success. In the past students have enjoyed Halloween discos and the summer fair was a highlight of the year. The Parents Council further support the school community through their assistance at school events such as Sports Day, the School Production and the Colour Run. We welcome your input in our College and encourage parental involvement at all levels of college life.
